We ship your order one of two ways, depending on how much it's worth. You don't have to pick anything, we choose the right one for you automatically. Here's exactly how it works.
Plain envelope Not tracked
Used for smaller orders: under $20.00 of cards (and up to 12 cards).
- Packaging: a regular envelope with a penny sleeve (a thin plastic sleeve that protects one card) and a piece of cardboard on each side to keep it from bending. No toploader (a rigid plastic card holder), it wouldn't fit in a regular envelope.
- Tracking: none. It goes out like a regular letter, so we can't look up where it is.
- Delivery: usually 3 to 8 days.
- Price: $1.25.
Tracked shipping Tracked
Used for everything else: bigger orders, or orders too large for an envelope.
- Packaging: a rigid mailer with a toploader (a hard plastic card holder) around each card.
- Tracking: yes. You get a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.
- Delivery: usually 2 to 5 days.
- Price: starts at $6.99. Very large orders (over 50 cards) add $1.00 for every extra 50 cards, since a bigger order needs a bigger, heavier package.
Free shipping
Spend $75.00 or more and the base tracked shipping price is waived. On a very large order, the small per-50-card add-on above still applies, since that part covers real extra postage weight, not the base handling fee.
How we pick which one to use
It's automatic. At checkout, we look at how much your order is worth and how many cards are in it. If it qualifies for the plain envelope, you'll see both options and can pick either one. If it's too big or too valuable for a plain envelope, you'll only see tracked shipping.
If your plain envelope doesn't arrive
Because a plain envelope has no tracking number, we can't look up where it is. If it hasn't shown up after a reasonable wait (more than 10 days past the 3 to 8 day window above), email support@ibuytrading.cards with your order number, and we'll refund you in full. If we still have the same cards in stock, you can choose a replacement instead.
